Brian and the Scouts go camping

Brian left last Thursday for a campout with the Scouts. The place they planned to fish in was Upper Stillwater resevoir , it was so steep and rocky they couldn't get the kayaks to the water, the one access gate was locked because of a rock slide a few years ago.

They hiked down to the water and tryed to fish, not much luck. Then they went to Moon Lake, it was pretty low, again not too much luck fishing. But the boys had a great time kayaking and playing in the mudd.

Finally they fished on Rock Creek--Some Success!!!
Fish were not the only thing they caught, when they got out of the creek, the boys had leeches on their legs. Josh had on long pants and didn't find his leech until they got back to camp and it had a full meal---yuk!!

They enjoyed dutch oven cooking and bacon wrapped steaks and just getting out camping.
