Tiberias Israel

We were so excited to see what Tiberas looked like, since we had arrived in the dark.
It was our first glimpse of the sea of Galilee.
These pictures are from our hotel room, it is a pretty little city.

My nightly writing in the journel in our room. It was a very nice hotel.
Breakfast was huge, many different combinations of foods.
all kinds of cheese

We really loved the breads!!

This lady would cook an omelet for breakfast, by the way, all this food was breakfast!

Tiberias has many ruins..these walls are from Roman times.

The Sea of Galilee is the water you can see.

The flowers are so bright and beautiful. I loved these with a little tiny flower inside it.

We found an ice cream store, but were too full to buy any that night. We were told how amazing the ice cream bars are in Israel.
Tomorrow night we will ride on one of these boats, they call them The Jesus boats.
A crane taking a drink.

This guy was fishing for Talapia. No casting, about 15 feet of line was tied to the end of the rod with some kind of bait hooked on the end of the line. We didn't see him catch anything.
We loved this place, it's nice and green, not crowded like Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Nazareth. It has the Sea of Galilee were Jesus walked on the water. And several areas on the shores of Galilee where Jesus walked and taught. Like, Capernaum, and the location of the sermon on the mount overlooking the sea.
