I thought of having a little Tea Party to celebrate my birthday instead of the regular cake and ice cream and presents we usually have. So Jenny made an invitation for me and we set the date.

The rule was, you had to wear a hat, scarf or some other dress up, you know you can't have a tea party in jeans and a t-shirt. Everyone was a good sport, I think we look "smashing"!!

I just wanted to have a little fun, and fun is what it was!!! I have gotten these teapots for Christmas from my friend Jax, they have always just sat in my curio for decoration, but they really work--except we had hot chocolate to add to our hot water.
Brian picked up some flowers for our tables, he did a good job picking them out!!, The whole room smelled like flowers.

Eclairs, from Dick's market can make any occasion just heavenly!!

The girls were so cute, Emma called her mom, "Her majesty" and they talked about how good "tea" was, they loved the bisquits the best.

Haylie and Emma sang songs for us, at first they were a little shy, but in the end, we had to say, that is enough for now!

Of course we all agreed, they were so talented and beautiful--what lucky girls to be doted on by moms, aunts, grandma and two great-grandmas!!

The next thing on the agenda, a relay race with a barrel of monkeys, the goal--to pick up as many monkeys as you possibly can in one minute.

The blue team won, but we all had fun.

Savannah came later with the boys, and enjoyed an ecliar Papa fed her.

The last hurrah, bundt cakes made by Jody--lemon, my favorite. The kids all helped me blow out the candles.

Tea Partys are fun when you grow up, almost as much fun as when you are little--thanks everyone for coming and indulging me.

It was a ton of fun! Great food, and wonderful company. The girls had such a great time. Thanks for having it! We should make it a yearly event! :)
this is just too too cute. I'm so happy we're related!
